This is one of the core classes of the music curriculum. I took a test in the beginning of the semester and ended up being placed in the advanced section of this class. Which is all fine and dandy. The thing is we get homework. There's always ear training homework to be done.
In order to get said homework done, we need to put a cd into our laptop, listen and write what we hear. Seems easy enough right?
No.
Not when you have a roommate like mine. She's obnoxiously loud though I can't really complain too much...I suppose. But I'm sitting on my bed after orchestra (so about 9 at night) trying to do my homework for the next day (which was a whole four questions) and my roommate was so freaking loud. She wasn't even in the room mind you. She was down the hall and our door was open. I got a little irked so I shut our door loudly in order to finish. I don't think she understands
a) how loud she is
b) how much our hall echoes and
c) when it's time for studying diligently.
Just shoot me now.
